What makes you a Culturati?

My curiosity and interest in different cultures; their languages or dialects, their traditions, food, clothes, and everything that makes a culture unique. In addition, my analytical mind constantly makes me aware of the differences between cultures. I am also fascinated by the generational differences found within the same ethnic groups.

How did you discover your Culturati nature?

When I traveled to Europe for the first time, I visited half a dozen countries. All were relatively close to one another but each had its one unique traditions, food, music and language. This amazed me, and drove me to become a Culturati.

What type of Culturati are you?

I am‘sporty’ Culturati. I have participated in several sports throughout my life. Playing sports helps me relieve stress and stay healthy. Through sports I have learned how to set goals for myself. I constantly challenge myself, and I look for ways to improve my skills. As a tackle football coach, I have learned how to transform skills into qualities which has helped me to become a better leader in my professional life. These skills have allowed me to be a team player. I acknowledge the contributions that others make to projects. This is key when wanting to make our organization the best in the industry.

What makes you a strong Culturati moderator?

My experience in project management in general market research has taught me to pay attention to the details of a project. My strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial experience and passion for consumer behavior allow me to see the bigger picture. That picture consists of unveiling consumer insights for our clients. I hold a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from USC, and a MBA from EADA Business School in Barcelona.
