What makes you a Culturati?

I am a Culturati at heart. One of my favorite things to do has always been to travel, learn about history, read, try new cooking recipes outside my comfort, and culture. I am a native Spanish speaker and have been studying the French language for over 5 years.

How did you discover your Culturati nature?

I discovered my inner Culturati through sports and travel. Growing up and having to travel a lot alongside my family pushed me to make friends from different backgrounds. Soccer is a sport I’ve always cherished playing and has always been the ultimate ice breaker to meet new friends. Going through these experiences and now being trilingual, has made me both culturally/ business diverse, and a team player.

What type of Culturati are you?

I am both curious and a life learner Culturati. I like to constantly reinvent my ideologies to become more understanding of others and be able to easily adapt. Growing up close to the border has been a major advantage because I am able to hold on onto my Latin culture as well as be able to experience the American one. I am drawn to languages which is why I was drawn to studying French. I once watched a Ted Talk called “The Secrets of Learning a New Language” because I wanted to know the secret of polyglots and their methods. One of my key takeaways from that video was to make the experience enjoyable. After that, to make learning fun, I started looking up cooking recipes in French.

What makes you a good Culturati Market Researcher?

Throughout the years I have focused on broadening my skills. I have acquired previous work experience by focusing on ethical decision making in business, global marketing strategy, sustainable and environmental development, financial planning, and International Comparative Perspectives. I am a first gen graduate and hold a bachelor’s degree in International Business with an emphasis in French and North America and focus on management which I acquired from studying at HEC Montreal Business school. What makes me a good Culturati Market Researcher is that I am passionate about working ethically in business and bridging resource gaps. I love getting to know people, their motives, and experiences. Having an interest in all these aspects helps me better prepare for any task.
