Tito Guizar

Project Manager, Cognitive Science Research

What makes you a Culturati?

My upbringing in a Mexican-American household exposed me to differences in cultures from a very early age. Since then, I’ve always enjoyed learning about people and their cultures, as well as how those attitudes and customs shape who they are.

How did you discover your Culturati nature?

Growing up in Long Beach CA, I was always surrounded by a very diverse group of peers. I feel that this upbringing allowed me to become aware of many more cultures and ethnicities than if I had grown up in a more homogenous community. As far as I know, I’ve always been aware of my Culturati nature.

What type of Culturati are you?

I enjoy learning about other cultures through their art. Therefore, I would say I am an artistic Culturati more than anything.

What makes you a strong Culturati Project Manager?

Over the years, I have worn several hats working at Culturati. As a result, I have a very firm grasp of how our organization works, from the proposal stage, to project kick-off, screener development, to conducting live research. In addition, my educational background is in interaction design, so I always strive to improve upon methods and procedures in order to ensure every project is a success.
