What makes you a Culturati?
I consider myself a Culturati because I view language as a powerful cultural connector. I don’t just speak languages, I immerse myself in the stories, values, and traditions behind them. Whether I’m traveling or conducting research, I strive to understand communities from the inside out. My passion lies in elevating voices that are often overlooked, and I believe that culturally sensitive, community-driven research is one of the most impactful ways to foster equity, connection, and meaningful change.
How did you discover your Culturati nature?
I discovered my Culturati nature during my undergraduate studies when a professor encouraged me to pursue research and step outside my comfort zone. That path led me to work with the deaf community, where I not only learned sign language but also their culture and history. Through that experience, I came to understand the importance of designing inclusive research that honors the identity of the community it serves. I developed a community-oriented project that combined research, public engagement, and advocacy, showing me how culture and collaboration can inspire meaningful change.
What type of Culturati are you?
I’m an analytical and impact-driven Culturati with a deep commitment to inclusive user experience research. I’m constantly seeking more culturally aware, community-first ways to improve systems, especially those that affect underserved populations. My curiosity and passion for understanding people from all walks of life fuel my work and keeps me grounded in thoughtful, purpose-driven solutions.
What makes you a strong Culturati manager?
I’m a collaborative, culturally aware project manager who approaches each challenge with empathy, curiosity, and structure. My background in customer service, community-based research, and team leadership has helped me develop strong communication and problem-solving skills. I lead with intention, making informed, data-backed decisions while staying attuned to the diverse perspectives and cultural nuances that shape each project and client relationship.
